Groundhogs are large rodents that are problematic for Holt homeowners when they find their way to our yards and gardens. Raccoons are mammals that are native to North America. Raccoons are omnivores and consume many of the same foods we eat, which is why they are so comfortable around people and our properties. Their most notable features are their fluffy tail ringed in black and grey fur and the black mask of fur covering their eyes.
